Celebrate Women's Equality Every Day!
August 26th is the Anniversary of the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Although some states had extended the right to vote prior to August 26, 1920, the passage of this amendment gave women the right to vote nationwide, superseding any state laws to the contrary.
